By Muhammad Hamza Irfan Hashmi
Man is the supreme creature of God. He has been endowed with certain which raise him above the level of angels. Love is one of these noble passions. Everyone has his own interpretation of love. At a lower level, it is a passion which we experience for our fellow human beings. At highest level it is a passion which links human and divine. In every form it is a noble passion. It is fire the burns away all the base elements in human soul. Love may be called the negation of self. Once man experiences, loses his separate identity. He becomes one with the object of love. It is a humbling feeling. It gives serious dent to man's sense of superiority. He becomes warm hearted. Even at an ordinary love renders man harmless. He becomes harmless for fellow humans as well as for lower animals. Love is the name of sacrifice. To prove his love man has been sold for a slave. He has jumped in to fire. To prove his love, he has even sacrificed his life. Love renders man oblivious common human consideration. He always seeks love and admiration of the object of love. He does not pay any attention to the mad pursuit of wealth. The glimpse of the object of adoration becomes his greatest pursuit. Every common love pales in to insignificance in the face of Divine love. Once we Tate it, we become indifferent to all petty loves. Once it sparks in human heart, he finds a new earth and new heaven. It raises down all the walls consequently we feel one with the whole humanity and regard all men to be members of the same family. It broadens human vision enabling him to experience divine light an everywhere.
